Does anyone know of private parties that will help someone in foreclosure?

July 9th, 2010

Due to multiple deaths in our family, including our son and his entire family, we are in foreclosure and REALLY want to save our home. Does anyone know of private investors or lenders that will help?

Try to find a HUD-approved housing counselor near you or call (800) 569-4287 http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/hcc/hcs.cfm

Also check with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition http://www.ncrc.org/ – they have a HELP NOW program for people in foreclosure situations http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/13/real_estate/helpnow_0313/index.htm?section=money_realestate

Or contact the non profit organization Homeownership Preservation Foundation http://www.995hope.org/

What state are you in? Check the classifieds in your local paper. How far along is the foreclosure?
