May 9th, 2010

I have been searching foreclosed home but everywhere I go there is usually a free trail or pay 39$ well is there somewhere you can go to find free listing of foreclosed homes in your area?

Any real estate agent can get you a list, although most states will be broken into specific areas.

There is no free list. If you want the convenience of having one list of them all you’ll have to pay.

Typically you can get that at the county sheriff’s site, which makes sense, because the sheriff is the one running the foreclosure.

You will have to search county by county that way, but it is free….

Keep in mind, you will also want to head over to the auditor’s site to see if back taxes are owed on the property as well as the transfer history of who bought the place for what.

I see foreclosed homes in our local paper all the time.
    They aer up for auction.

Here is a trick no one else seems to know.
I bank with bank of america.
They have a webpage that tells you their listing of bank owned homes that they are trying to sell.
Be warned – even if a house if foreclosed by the bank – does not mean that it’s a bargain.
Banks are out there to get their money back – aggressive sellers.

They are all free at your County Recorders Website.

All of Wells Fargo’s repos are available at pasreo.com ( I don’t work for them and the site is free)

All of BofA’s are at bankofamerica.com ( I don’t work for them and it is free)

USA-foreclosures.com ( I don’t work for them and they are free) has 85% of all repo’s online.

Or you can walk into any realty office and get them free.
